Kicking off Term 2 a day earlier than all their classmates are Eleanor, Shyla, Kirin, Charlotte and Claire. These five students are participating in a four day program called "You should be a cop" with police officers Angus and Ben from the Nepean Youth Command. Staff and students gathered together this morning to take part in the ANZAC Day March in Springwood to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of our veterans and current defence personnel. We are proud to stand together as a school community to remember those who gave so much for our freedom. Alanah and Sam laid a wreath on behalf of the College while Taylah read the prayer for the ANZAC Day Memorial Service. Lest we forget. The St Columba's Art Prize is getting really close! This will be an exhibition not to be missed, with entries from artists in every state and territory in Australia and a prize pool of over $13,750. If you would like to attend the Opening on the evening of Friday 2 May, an RSVP is essential via www.trybooking.com/DAGIG The exhibition will also be open to the public over the weekend of 3-4 May and by appointment until 7 May.

💙✨ Our Faith in Action Team (Years 7–12) has been working hard to make a difference through two recent initiatives—a Bake Sale and Crafternoon! Thanks to the amazing support from our school community, we raised enough funds to create 50 care packs filled with toiletries and non-perishable snacks. These will be distributed by the Springwood and Katoomba Vinnies conferences to support people doing it tough. Each pack includes a message of compassion, dignity, and hope—reminding recipients they are not alone. We were also blessed to have some wonderful helpers from St Thomas Aquinas Primary School join us to help pack the care items—a true show of community in action! 💛 ✨ Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed!

Our da Vinci Decathlon teams have been hard at work in Bathurst! Students from Years 7 to 10 have been participating in a challenging academic competition, working across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, ideation, creative producers, cartography and legacy. Well done to all our teams!
