The Inaugural PDSSSC Girls U16 Rugby League Team was fortunate enough to have Geoff Daniela - The Female Development Trainer from St Marys Saints Rugby League Club come today to our training to coach the girls. The girls had a great time and appreciated the guidance and advice. A special mention to our Year 12 assistant coach Alexis Hodge for helping organise this session. The St Columba's Art Prize
The grounds of St Columba's Catholic College have been transformed into a fully-fledged exhibition for the first St Columba's Art Prize, The competition welcomes young and old artists alike from across the country to submit their finest works for exhibition at the Springwood school.

Congratulations to the six incredible St Columba's students who competed at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Perth recently. Annalise (Y11) Under 18 400 metres - Finalist, 8th place Kael (Y10) Under 17 400 metre hurdles - Finalist, PB, 7th place James (Y7) Under 14 90 metre hurdles - 19th place Douglas (Y9) Under 15 100 metre hurdles -16th place Tyson (Y10) Under 16 Triple Jump - PB, 6th place Under 16 Long Jump - 12th place Maximis (Y12) Under 18 400 metre hurdles - 20th place These students competed against the best junior athletes in Australia and represented their state and our College tremendously. Congratulations!

Last Friday a number of our students competed in the PDSSSC Cross Country. Everyone gave of their best and many of our students placed. Taylah and Evah (both Year 12) participated in their first Evatt preliminary round today, representing Greece 🇬🇷 The Evatt Model United Nations Competition (Evatt) immerses young people into the world of peace and security on the international stage. Simulating a session in the UN Security Council, delegates (participants) work in teams of two to represent one of the fifteen member states in negotiations to settle threats to global peace. 🇺🇳 Fantastic effort girls!
