During Week 6 and 7 this term, students in Year 9 will have the opportunity to complete a trial of online literacy and numeracy tests. These tests are similar to those that students will complete to demonstrate they have met the HSC minimum literacy and numeracy standards to be eligible for the Higher School Certificate.
In 2018, the official online tests will begin, however students are being given access to the tests in reading, writing and numeracy as a trial in order for schools and students to see what the tests are like and the standard of achievement needed to pass the online tests in the future.The results of the trial tests will not count towards students HSC minimum standards, however as a school we will be given feedback on student performance.
